It Gets Chaotic

Hello! I'm Nancy, the mama behind Fanciful Chaos. I live in the part of California where rainy days are rare, and sunshine is plentiful.

I love art in forms of color, pencils, paper and paint. Art is everywhere... helps me keep both feet on the ground.

Fanciful Chaos began when my good friend Lora made, for me, a crochet turtle as a thank you gift. I took it as a token to a new beginning, a start to a new life. Next thing I knew, Fanciful Chaos was born.

Why Fanciful Chaos?

Define Fanciful... imagination, fantasy
Define Fancy... to like, dream, imagine, create, love, desire
Define Chaos... disorder mass

Growing up, I have always had, the desire to love and create. Imagination was, and still is, everything. Today's time, I am married to a wonderful man. The person who continues to encourage me to never stop chasing my dreams... I took his last name "Chao" and added a "S" and that's how Fanciful Chaos got its name. The word Chaos not only describes the disorder in my love for all kinds of art, but it frees me to take something from my present life. In more ways, Fanciful Chaos describes the nature of my world.

I love unreal and whimsical imagery. Whether through writing, drawing, or creating, my dream is to tell a story through handmade.
